Linguistics is one of the sciences whose terminology develops and branches out with the advancement of linguistic scientific research. This is because linguistic research is generated from other research, as the nature of language is to develop and renew itself. This is a fixed historical law in human speech and linguistic usage. Therefore, linguistic sciences are produced from other sciences, and terms emerge from other terms, all of which perform a new linguistic function and provide a service to scientific research by explaining human linguistic phenomena. Because linguistic sciences come from one source and deal with a constant human condition, they complement each other in reaching a scientific explanation of the miraculous human phenomenon that distinguishes man from the rest of God Almighty’s creatures, which is the human tongue and the language of communication between people. Among these linguistic sciences is stylistics, a modern branch of linguistics with ancient foundations. Ancient linguists used the term "style" to refer to the manner in which a writer employs their writing, a poet composes their poetry, and even in matters of public life. For example, a judge has their style in adjudication, a ruler their style in governance, a leader their style in leadership, and an orator their style in their speech, and so on. However, this "style" is not the same as stylistics, whose concepts define the parameters for dealing with the complete text, from its morphological depth to the perfection of its impactful message on the audience, encompassing the structures and means that produce the endless array of linguistic constructs. Although there is a relationship of integration between stylistics and rhetoric, in that rhetoric studies the rhetorical style and the syntactic style of words, stylistics in its modern concept transcends these limitations to a broader horizon, where stylistics studies public discourse, literary composition, and the individual’s style in a state of integration, which makes us face a largely comprehensive scientific approach that combines the pragmatic language between interlocutors and the language of literary systems, and makes the latter an extension of the former, interpreting it and completing its creative linguistic and literary starting point.
