Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the relationship between digital self and moral judgment among secondary school students, as well as to determine the level of both variables and examine gender differences. The study adopted the descriptive correlational method, and the sample consisted of male and female secondary school students. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher constructed two scales: the Digital Self Scale and the Moral Judgment Scale, after verifying their validity and reliability using appropriate statistical procedures. The findings revealed that secondary school students possess a moderate to high level of digital self and a good level of moral judgment. The results also showed a positive statistically significant correlation between digital self and moral judgment. Furthermore, gender differences were found in favor of females in both variables. Based on the findings, the study recommended enhancing digital and moral education within schools, promoting students’ digital awareness and ethical responsibility, and strengthening the role of educational counseling in addressing the psychological and social challenges associated with modern technology use.
